A non-disclosure agreement is client generated and is usually signed before the Logo Questionnaire. Since most of my clients are "start ups" many have "proprietary" information within their answers, many of them feel more comfortable with me signing this confidential agreement. TRADEMARK
If you fully intend to have your logo trademarked, it is important that a trademark lawyer is involved from the beginning of the design process. They will search the concept/design that you wish to proceed with to ensure that you logo does not infringe upon other trademark logos.
RELEASE OF RIGHTS
The release of artist's rights is generated by me after the balance is paid in full. I will forward an all-media rights, exclusive use contract for your protection. The exclusive use contract means that if you purchased the logo, you own it, and I will have no rights to reuse it again without your permission. Without this contract an artist still has rights to that logo.
